Role overview
The Food & Beverage Team Leader will manage day-to-day activities in the food and beverage area, making sure service standards remain strong and guests leave satisfied. The position also involves helping coordinate the team, supporting training efforts, and keeping operations running smoothly across restaurants, dining sections, or event venues.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise food and beverage staff throughout assigned shifts and provide hands-on support where needed.
- Ensure the team follows hygiene, sanitation, and safety procedures at all times.
- Deliver consistent service quality and help maintain a positive guest experience.
- Support stock control tasks, including inventory checks, ordering, and replenishment.
- Guide, coach, and train new team members to help them settle into the role.
- Listen to guest concerns, address feedback, and resolve service-related issues promptly.
Requirements
- Demonstrated background in food and beverage service.
- Previous experience leading or supporting a team is required.
- Good communication and people-management abilities.
- Comfortable working in a busy, fast-moving environment.
- Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
Qualifications
A high school diploma is required, and hospitality-specific training is preferred.
