F&B Store Keeper

Job Overview

The F&B Store Keeper plays a vital role in managing the reception, storage, distribution, and inventory oversight of food, beverage, and associated supplies. This position is key to maintaining precise stock documentation, controlling costs, complying with hygiene protocols, and delivering timely support to kitchen and food service areas adhering to Salayel Hospitality’s standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and verify food, beverage, and operational supplies against purchase orders and delivery papers.
• Store items correctly following FIFO, FEFO, and sanitation guidelines.
• Keep detailed and accurate stock records using inventory management tools and manual logs.
• Distribute supplies to kitchens and outlets strictly according to approved requests.
• Observe stock quantities, reporting slow-moving, expired, or damaged goods.
• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly stocktakes and assist during audits.
• Work closely with Purchasing, Cost Control, and Food & Beverage teams to ensure adequate inventory replenishment.
• Adhere to food safety standards, HACCP, and Abu Dhabi government regulations.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in storage areas at all times.
• Support cost control efforts aimed at minimizing waste and shrinkage.

Candidate Requirements

• Two to four years’ experience as an F&B Store Keeper within the hospitality sector such as hotels or restaurants.
• Solid knowledge of F&B stock management, storage methods, and cost reduction techniques.
• Understanding and application of inventory rotation methods like FIFO and FEFO, plus expiry date management.
• Experience with inventory or ERP systems is advantageous.
• Basic computer proficiency including Excel and stock tracking software.
• Physically capable of performing store duties.
• Effective verbal and written English communication abilities.
• Previous work experience in the UAE hospitality industry is preferable.
