Facade Cleaner

Role Overview

This position involves cleaning and maintaining tall-building exterior surfaces using rope access methods, with strict adherence to IRATA procedures and health, safety, and environment standards.

Key Duties

• Carry out rope-access cleaning of glass facades, curtain walls, ACP panels, cladding, signage, skylights, and canopies.
• Operate and check rope-access gear safely while working under IRATA Level 2/3 oversight.
• Work in line with HSE rules, PPE expectations, and site risk assessments.
• Identify and report any facade damage or equipment-related concerns.
• Keep accurate daily logs and inspection documentation.

Requirements

• Must hold a valid IRATA Level 1 certificate.
• At least 1 year of experience in facade cleaning or rope-access work is required.
• Background in facilities management or high-rise maintenance is an advantage.
• Should understand rope rigging, working at height, and safe handling of equipment.
• Needs to be physically fit and able to communicate and work well with others.

Reporting Structure

Reports to the Rope Access Supervisor (IRATA Level 3) or the Operations Supervisor.
