They are leaders in sustainable development initiatives around new energy minerals, green alumina, green steel, and food security projects. Their expertise spans concept studies, front-end engineering design, basic engineering, and detailed engineering for EP and EPCM project delivery in key minerals like iron ore, rock phosphate, base metals, as well as emerging minerals such as lithium, cobalt, manganese, and graphite.

Role Overview

As an Expeditor or Senior Expeditor at Worley, you will collaborate closely with established teams to ensure successful project delivery while enhancing your professional capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Track supplier adherence to approved manufacturing, engineering, procurement, and delivery timelines.
• Evaluate purchase orders and delivery contract obligations.
• Conduct ongoing communication with suppliers to ensure project milestones are met.
• Detect scheduling risks, delays, and roadblocks, and implement corrective strategies.
• Lead supplier kick-off and progress review meetings.
• Facilitate expediting efforts for critical equipment and materials with suppliers.
• Verify suppliers have sufficient capacity and resources to fulfill project schedules.
• Monitor and report on engineering, procurement, manufacturing, inspection, testing, and shipment phases.
• Maintain Material Status Reports, Expediting Reports, and Supplier Progress Reports accurately.
• Deliver timely updates and generate performance reports highlighting critical challenges and recovery plans.
• Assess supplier KPIs and delivery performance consistently.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with procurement, engineering, QA/QC, inspection, logistics, and construction teams to resolve issues affecting delivery.
• Conduct desk-based expediting activities, review field expediting and inspection reports, and recommend corrective measures.
• Participate in supplier audits and performance appraisals.
• Monitor submission and approval of supplier documentation to ensure alignment with project specs and client standards.
• Verify completion of inspection, testing, certification, and shipping documents before delivery.
• Assist in document control and project close-out processes.
• Coordinate with logistics teams to guarantee timely shipments and deliveries, verify packing lists and shipping documents, and manage transportation and customs clearance processes.
• Identify and mitigate logistics-related delays.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Mechanical, Chemical, or Production Engineering or equivalent relevant experience.
• A minimum of 8 to 20 years in expediting, procurement, supply chain, or project execution within Oil & Gas, LNG, Chemical, Petrochemical, Refining, or Energy industries.
• Experience in EPC, EPCM, or large capital projects is advantageous.
• Proven expertise managing critical equipment suppliers and overseeing international supply chains.
