Overview

The Executive Vice President (EVP) of Project Management serves as a critical executive leader responsible for shaping and driving the comprehensive project management strategy across the organization. This position leads core domains such as the Project Management Office (PMO), project portfolio oversight, project delivery excellence, governance, and resource allocation. The EVP ensures robust project outcomes that align with the company's strategic ambitions, supporting sustainable growth and international expansion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement a cohesive corporate project management strategy aligned with organizational goals.
  • Establish enterprise-wide project management frameworks, governance protocols, and standards.
  • Direct annual project planning, investment strategies, and resource distribution.
  • Champion best practices and ongoing process improvements in project management.
  • Manage project portfolio planning, prioritization, and optimize resource use across initiatives.
  • Supervise delivery of strategic, high-impact projects ensuring schedule, budget, quality, and scope adherence.
  • Lead the corporate PMO, developing policies, processes, and review mechanisms for project oversight.
  • Coordinate project resource management including human, financial, technological, and equipment assets.
  • Ensure rigorous risk management, quality control, and regulatory compliance across projects.
  • Drive digital transformation of project management through adoption of PPM, PMIS tools, AI, automation, and data analytics dashboards.
  • Foster interdepartmental collaboration supporting corporate strategic projects including digital transformation, mergers and acquisitions, and global growth.
  • Build and guide global project management teams, cultivating leadership and competency development.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Engineering Management, Industrial Engineering, Information Management, or related discipline.
  • Advanced degrees such as MBA or Master of Engineering Management preferred.
  • Professional certifications like PMP, PgMP, PRINCE2, or PMI-ACP are advantageous.
  • Minimum 15 years in project management or corporate leadership roles, including over 10 years at senior management or executive level.
  • Proven experience in senior project leadership roles within large enterprises or multinational corporations, preferably with global project and cross-regional team management.

Core Competencies and Metrics

  • Expertise in project management, portfolio oversight, governance, resource and budget management, risk and quality control.
  • Proficient in digital project management, agile methodologies, strategic planning, and change management.
  • Strong cross-functional leadership and business analytics capabilities.
  • Track record of meeting key performance indicators such as on-time delivery, budget adherence, project success rates, ROI, quality compliance, risk mitigation, and customer satisfaction.
