Role Overview

St. Joseph’s Institution International is hiring an English Language Teacher to teach on site in Singapore. The position focuses on creating strong classroom experiences that support students’ language development and academic growth.

Teaching Responsibilities

The teacher will be expected to plan and conduct lessons that are clear, effective, and engaging. A key part of the role is building a classroom atmosphere that promotes thoughtful analysis, independent learning, and active participation.

Qualifications and Experience

Applicants should hold a university degree, with at least a bachelor’s degree in the relevant subject area. Teacher-training credentials such as PGDE or an equivalent qualification are required. Candidates with prior teaching experience in the subject area are preferred, especially former MOE teachers.
