Job description

Job Purpose and Location

This role is based in Brighton, requiring travel to Eastbourne and other parts of Sussex. Candidates must possess a Full UK Driving Licence and have access to a car with business insurance.

Working Hours

A minimum commitment of 35 hours per week is expected.

Role Overview

As an Employability Advisor, you will embody the organization's mission by providing comprehensive support to tackle barriers related to employment, financial challenges, housing difficulties, relationships, well-being, social inclusion, and digital skills. The focus is on raising awareness and fostering community understanding while identifying and securing suitable job opportunities aligned with the philosophy of 'work for all'.

Candidate Profile

Ideal candidates are self-driven, passionate about helping individuals overcome employment obstacles, and thrive in collaborative environments. A proactive and solutions-oriented approach is essential. The role demands networking skills to source referrals through community organizations, charities, Jobcentres, and community venues. Previous experience in employability programs evidencing the ability to deliver diverse solutions is required.
