Company Overview

Majd Yanbu Industrial Company is a collaboration between Elsewedy Cables and Alfanar Electrical Systems, establishing an advanced copper rod manufacturing plant in Yanbu Industrial City. The facility is designed with an annual production capability of 120,000 MT, and as the company prepares for full-scale production, it is building a robust engineering team to ensure efficient and safe operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, install, and maintain low and medium voltage electrical infrastructure including switchgear, transformers, motor control centers, and distribution boards.
• Assist in commissioning and starting up electrical equipment throughout the copper rod production lines.
• Develop and apply preventive maintenance schedules and electrical inspection programs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical problems on production machinery, drives, and control systems.
• Ensure all electrical activities conform with IEC standards, Saudi Electricity Company regulations, and applicable industrial electrical codes.
• Coordinate integration efforts with automation and instrumentation teams concerning PLC and SCADA systems.
• Maintain accurate documentation such as electrical as-built drawings and single-line diagrams.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Between 3 to 6 years of experience in electrical engineering roles within industrial or manufacturing environments.
• Expertise in low and medium voltage power systems, motor drives like variable frequency drives (VFDs), and industrial control architecture.
• Hands-on experience or familiarity with PLC and SCADA systems is strongly preferred.
• Thorough knowledge of Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) regulations and IEC electrical standards.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Electrical or EPLAN software is advantageous.
