About the Diamond Coast Hotel
Located in Enniscrone, County Sligo, Ireland, the Diamond Coast Hotel boasts an impressive location overlooking the Enniscrone championship golf course, beautiful dune lands, and an extensive five-kilometer stretch of golden beaches ideal for water sports and leisure walks. The hotel features 99 spacious, elegantly designed guest rooms, many with views of the golf course and dunes.
The Coral Restaurant offers warm hospitality, quality cuisine, fine wines, and a welcoming atmosphere. Additional amenities include a crystal-adorned banqueting suite accommodating up to 400 guests, meeting rooms, and the Stir Bistro.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement marketing and sales strategies to meet team objectives.
- Manage staff performance, conducting evaluations and probation reviews.
- Oversee daily and advance forecasting systems to maintain operational efficiency.
- Identify and nurture talent within the team for career progression.
- Inspire and professionally motivate the team.
- Foster interdepartmental relationships to ensure smooth operations and high standards.
- Maintain professional collaborations with other department heads.
- Lead and manage health and safety protocols for the department.
- Assign duties to waitstaff and supervisors appropriately.
- Collaborate with Executive Head Chef, F&B Manager, and staff to develop menus and specials.
- Communicate effectively from management to departmental staff.
- Participate in management meetings as required.
- Manage staffing budgets and oversee cost control measures.
- Supervise inventory and stock management.
- Fulfill duty manager shift requirements.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned.
Candidate Qualifications
- Prior experience in food and beverage management within a similar setting.
- Proven ability to manage and lead large teams effectively.
- Passion for food service with a drive to innovate and improve.
- Strong organizational abilities combined with excellent time management and adaptability.
- Commercially minded with a focus on business objectives.
- Good problem-solving skills with confidence and assertiveness.
