Job description

Role Overview

Join the Domestic Team at Liverpool Women's Hospital under the NHS University Hospitals of Liverpool Group where our goal is to support our patients, staff, and local communities towards healthier, happier lives through maintaining a spotless and safe environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out high-standard cleaning of wards, clinics, and offices ensuring compliance with infection control policies and procedures.
  • Perform various cleaning duties outlined by the National Standards of Cleaning 2025, which include general cleaning, floor maintenance, enhanced cleaning, and deep cleaning of patient areas and other facilities.
  • Work effectively both independently and as part of a wider team while maintaining clear written and verbal communication.
  • Physically manage duties such as mopping, damp dusting, lifting, and carrying necessary equipment and materials.

Experience and Requirements

  • Previous cleaning experience is essential for this position.
  • Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Physical fitness to perform demanding cleaning tasks.
