About Osprey Court Care Home
Located in Pitcrocknie Village near Alyth, Perth and Kinross, Osprey Court Care Home is a modern 60-bed facility offering Residential, Nursing, Dementia, and Respite care. The home provides a high-quality environment that supports staff development, teamwork, and making a meaningful impact.
Position Summary
The Domestic Assistant is vital in maintaining a sanitary, safe, and inviting atmosphere that promotes residents' dignity, comfort, and wellbeing. This hands-on role demands meticulous attention to cleanliness and presentation, which directly affects daily life for residents.
Key Duties
- Clean residents’ bedrooms, bathrooms, and communal spaces to uphold high hygiene and presentation standards.
- Assist with laundry tasks, ensuring personal belongings are carefully managed and accurately returned.
- Adhere to infection control, health and safety, and cleaning protocols, completing all work safely and according to guidelines.
- Collaborate effectively with the broader care team to foster an organized and respectful environment.
Candidate Profile
- Dependable and positive attitude.
- Keen attention to detail with a commitment to high cleaning standards.
- Ability to work independently and cooperatively within a team setting.
- Effective communication skills.
- Knowledge of hygiene and infection control principles is advantageous.
- Previous cleaning or care experience is beneficial but not mandatory.
Additional Information
- Compensation: £12.71 per hour.
- Positions available for full-time or part-time with flexible shifts.
- Benefits include paid PVG, pension contributions, and provided uniform.
- Annual leave entitlement is 5.6 weeks based on full-time contracts.
