Position Overview

We are seeking a District Manager based in the Providence, Rhode Island area to lead the district sales efforts. This role focuses on driving profitable sales by enforcing high standards of service quality, ensuring prime product display placements with retail partners, fostering strong relationships with store personnel, and maintaining optimal inventory levels throughout the district.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver consistent positive performance against sales, cost management, operational, and talent development targets.
• Identify obstacles and create strategic plans to achieve district sales objectives.
• Monitor and analyze financial and operational KPIs; adjust strategies accordingly.
• Maintain appropriate stock levels per location utilizing established tools and systems.
• Organize resources efficiently to support sales growth and optimize team schedules based on weekly sales data.
• Manage staffing needs by planning and adjusting team members’ work schedules to meet business demands.
• Cultivate and maintain strong partnerships with internal teams and retail leadership to secure advantageous product placements.
• Provide market insights to anticipate trends and address potential impacts on the district or company.
• Lead recruitment, onboarding, and development of team members, conducting regular performance reviews.
• Effectively manage a remotely located team through clear communication and consistent performance management.
• Within the first 30 days, engage with staff and partners to develop cultural understanding; assess market and team from 30-60 days to address any gaps; by 60-90 days, implement workforce planning ensuring a fully trained, efficient team.

Required Experience and Skills

• Proven experience managing remote teams that rely on technology for job execution.
• Demonstrated success overseeing and developing district support roles.
• Comfortable working in roles involving moderate to extensive travel.
• Strong process-oriented approach to managing operational, administrative, and talent goals.
• Experienced in client-facing environments interacting with multiple customers and partners simultaneously.
• Proficient with company-issued devices and Microsoft Office tools.
