Role overview

Bubble Down Car Wash is expanding quickly across Florida, moving from 8 locations to more than 30. This District Manager position is central to that growth and is intended for a leader who can own results, move with urgency, and uphold a consistent standard across every site.

The role is responsible for multi-site performance across as many as 10 locations, with accountability for operations, team performance, and profitability. Head Office defines the operating standard, and this role ensures it is executed in the field. The position reports directly to the COO.

You will work within a defined support structure. A District HR Manager handles recruiting, training, and people systems, while maintenance leadership manages asset uptime. Your focus is the on-the-ground outcome across your district.

Core focus areas

Performance and execution: Lead operational excellence, customer experience, and NOI across every assigned site. Identify what is blocking performance, resolve it quickly, and put systems in place so the same issue does not repeat.

Leadership and team performance: Coach Site Managers, set a high standard for professionalism, and hold them accountable for results. You will own retention, team stability, and overall effectiveness across the district. Recommendations related to hiring, promotion, and termination must be timely, clearly documented, aligned cross-functionally, and approved according to company standards. Underperformance must be addressed early and documented carefully.

Labor and financial ownership: Manage labor, scheduling, and expenses to protect profitability. Keep labor aligned to targets, remove avoidable overtime within the pay period, and ensure Site Managers are accountable for labor and expense outcomes.

Operational discipline: Enforce company standards consistently across all locations. Make sure training translates into real field execution, not just completion on paper, and maintain a premium, consistent customer experience.

Maintenance and uptime: Work with maintenance leadership to keep preventive maintenance on track and reduce repeat equipment issues and avoidable downtime.

Customer experience and brand execution: Maintain a high-quality experience at every site. Use complaints, damage patterns, and service data as early warning signs and respond quickly. Ensure promotions and marketing are carried out properly in the field.

Field presence: Conduct structured weekly visits to each location. Arrive prepared, confirm standards, record findings, and drive accountability.

What you bring

We are looking for someone with at least 5 years of experience leading multiple sites at the same time in car wash, retail, service, QSR, fitness, automotive, or another high-volume hourly operation. You should also have a clear record of improving site performance across more than one location, whether through labor, NOI, retention, or customer metrics.

The role requires a leader who is comfortable setting a high bar, giving direct feedback, and solving problems at the source rather than escalating them. Strong financial understanding is needed across labor, P&L, and staffing outcomes, along with comfort using standard business and operational tools such as Microsoft Office or similar software.

Work environment and schedule

This is a field-based position covering the greater Tampa Bay area, including Clearwater, Spring Hill, Port Charlotte, Punta Gorda, and nearby locations. The territory is growing quickly, and local as well as regional travel will be part of the job.

Because the role is field-oriented, a valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, insurance, and a clean driving record are required. Car wash operations run early in the morning, on weekends, on holidays, and in all weather conditions, so flexibility is essential.
