Dispatch Rider

Role Overview

The Dispatch Rider is responsible for timely delivery of goods and documents, ensuring accurate verification of orders and managing inventory and transportation. This role involves both outdoor and indoor tasks including delivering packages, official documents, and bulky items as required.

Key Responsibilities

• Communicate with customers by notifying them about item availability, shipment schedules, and current status, while addressing inquiries.
• Confirm customer delivery addresses through direct contact to ensure accuracy.
• Pickup items and deliver them safely and punctually to customers.
• Collect payments for purchased goods upon delivery.

Qualifications and Skills

• Possession of at least a Secondary School Leaving Certificate.
• Proven previous experience working as a dispatch rider or in a similar role.
• Knowledgeable about local routes.
• Passionate and skilled motorcyclist.
• Competency in reading, writing, and effective communication.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask.
• Capability to perform well under pressure.
• Good numerical skills for managing delivery and expense records.
• Polite demeanor and ability to get along well with others.
