Role Overview
The Director of Operations will spearhead operational strategies and ensure the smooth daily execution of consulting and technology services. The role focuses on operational efficiency, superior quality delivery, and sustaining long-term growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all operational functions spanning consulting, technology, and internal departments.
- Develop and execute operational strategies that align with core company vision, growth goals, and business priorities.
- Design, enhance, and continuously refine business processes and workflows for maximum efficiency.
- Create, track, and report operational KPIs and dashboards to support data-driven decisions.
- Oversee project planning, manage resource allocation, balance workloads, and ensure timely delivery across projects.
- Drive consistent, high-quality client project execution to uphold operational excellence.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to translate company strategies into practical operational plans.
- Establish scalable operational frameworks to support expansion and long-term sustainability.
- Manage departmental budgets, forecast financials, plan resources, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Identify operational risks and implement strategies to mitigate them while ensuring uninterrupted business operations.
- Promote organizational efficiency through adoption of automation, digital tools, AI technologies, and continuous process improvements.
- Lead, mentor, and nurture cross-functional teams fostering accountability, team collaboration, ownership, and ongoing learning.
- Contribute operational expertise during business development, client proposals, and project solution design.
- Develop operational governance policies, documentation standards, and internal procedures to maintain consistency and compliance.
- Monitor client satisfaction, proactively resolve operational issues, and contribute to sustained client retention and success.
- Coordinate with external partners, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure seamless operations.
- Prepare reports and provide strategic recommendations for senior leadership review.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, contractual commitments, quality benchmarks, and relevant regulations.
- Drive change management initiatives supporting the rollout of new services, technologies, and operational models.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve productivity, profitability, scalability, and overall operational performance.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proficient in operations management, including process design, workflow improvements, and performance metrics.
- Strong analytical abilities to interpret data, evaluate risks, and enable evidence-based decision-making.
- Experienced in managing teams, mentoring personnel, overseeing performance, and coordinating across departments.
- Capable in budgeting, financial oversight, cost control, forecasting, and resource management.
- Committed to delivering excellent customer service and fostering lasting client relationships.
- Background in management consulting, technology services, or related fields, with preference for growth or transformation-focused environments.
- Excellent communication skills in English; Arabic proficiency is advantageous.
- Possess a bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Engineering, or a related area.
- Willing and able to work on-site in Riyadh and engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
