We are collaborating with a well-established, growth-focused distribution company to find a Director of Information Technology who thrives in crafting strategy while staying engaged with daily business execution. This leadership position offers significant visibility and influence over the technological development supporting both domestic and international operations, playing a vital role in steering the company's upcoming growth phases.

Key Responsibilities

• Formulate and implement the IT strategy, managing daily technology functions.
• Lead and coach a team dedicated to business applications, infrastructure, system administration, and analytics.
• Maintain secure, reliable, scalable enterprise systems aligned with business goals.
• Manage technology transformation projects from inception through to effective execution and adoption.
• Collaborate with executive management to align technology investments with organizational objectives.
• Oversee critical business systems including ERP, CRM, and WMS to enhance operational efficiency.
• Supervise relationships with external technology vendors and service providers.
• Provide support across multiple US-based locations while coordinating with international teams.
• Lead initiatives in cybersecurity, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning.
• Seek opportunities to enhance efficiency through technology, automation, and data-informed decision-making.

Candidate Profile

• Over 10 years of advancing leadership experience in IT.
• Background in distribution, manufacturing, or other complex operational sectors.
• Comprehensive experience in infrastructure, networking, enterprise applications, systems administration, and analytics.
• Demonstrated success in leading ERP deployments, migrations, or improvements.
• Strong expertise in managing technology transformations and projects.
• Experience supporting multi-site operations while leading compact, high-performing teams.
• Adept at balancing strategic oversight with practical involvement.
• Excellent communication skills with the capability to influence across departments.

Compensation and Benefits

• Annual base salary ranging from $180,000 to $225,000.
