Position Overview

This senior leadership role is responsible for managing the Legislation, Education and Policy work unit within the Northern Territory Department of Treasury and Finance. The Director leads the development and implementation of the NT's taxation legislation and related policy.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise the analysis and provision of advice on revenue, grants, exemptions, and various policy initiatives.
• Manage the processes regarding objection determinations and appeals.
• Lead and coordinate stakeholder education programs to ensure effective communication.
• Oversee contribution from the revenue division to budget development and corporate reporting.

• Position located in Darwin, Northern Territory.
• Remuneration Package: $233,112 annually.
• The appointment can be made as an Executive contract for up to four years or a fixed term for four years, based on the successful candidate's preference.
