Company Overview
Larimar Therapeutics Inc. is a publicly traded clinical-stage biotech firm specializing in treatments for complex rare diseases through innovative cell-penetrating peptide technology. Their lead candidate, Nomlabofusp, is a recombinant fusion protein designed for subcutaneous delivery of human frataxin to mitochondria, targeting Friedreich’s ataxia—a rare, fatal disease characterized by insufficient FXN production due to genetic defects.
The company is supported by a seasoned management group with decades of pharmaceutical industry expertise and over 50 employees skilled in discovery, development, regulatory affairs, and GMP manufacturing processes. Larimar aims to lead rare disease treatment by applying their technology and team's expertise to current and future pipeline projects, fostering an entrepreneurial, scientific, and committed workplace culture.
