Role Overview

As a Data Insights Engineer reporting to the Data Insights & Business Intelligence Manager, you will be essential in managing and optimizing our data infrastructure. Your efforts will ensure data accuracy, accessibility, and reliability that supports strategic decision-making throughout the company. Working with extensive and varied data sets, you will design, build, and maintain data pipelines, infrastructure, and analytical tools. You will also identify opportunities for process enhancements, improve data accessibility, and tackle complex business challenges through innovative technology solutions. Your technical expertise combined with a ‘‘Hungry for Better’’ attitude will empower teams to leverage insights and boost organizational performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop semantic data models to support analytics
• Ingest tertiary source data into systems
• Manage migration of OLAP cubes
• Provide support for Power BI reporting environments

Essential Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum five years experience working with IT business application software—covering analysis, development, reporting, and training
• Relevant diploma or degree in Computer Science or related IT field
• Proven ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders across organizational levels
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
• Experience with Microsoft/Azure data tools including SSRS, SSAS, SSIS, and Azure Synapse
• Familiarity with Azure data solutions or multidimensional data models/cubes is advantageous
