Customer Service - Self Storage Manager

Overview

Public Storage is a leading name in the self-storage industry and is currently recruiting for a Property Manager role. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Easton, PA, with a pay rate of $17.00 per hour.

Work Schedule and Benefits

The role follows flexible full-time hours between 9:30am and 6:00pm, with weekends until 5:00pm. Team members may qualify for full-time benefits after averaging 20+ hours per week. Mileage reimbursement is available when traveling between properties or carrying out work-related tasks. Performance-based bonuses may also be earned.

Role Summary

The Property Manager works independently across multiple locations and splits time between indoor and outdoor duties. The job involves helping customers determine the right storage solution, recommending packing and moving supplies, checking storage units to verify readiness and availability, handling cash drawer audits and bank deposits, and following up on overdue accounts through reminders and collection calls.

Physical Requirements

This position requires the ability to lift, move, or transport items weighing up to 35 pounds. The role may involve spending as much as half the workday outdoors, walking around the facility, climbing stairs, and opening large doors. Routine cleaning and upkeep are also expected, including sweeping and mopping indoor areas and keeping exterior grounds and curb appeal clean and free of debris.

Qualifications

Applicants should have experience in customer service-oriented sales settings such as retail, restaurants, fast food, or similar service businesses. A valid driver’s license is required, along with the use of a personal vehicle for travel between locations and other work-related activities. Mileage reimbursement is provided.
