TurboTenant is hiring a Customer Experience Specialist I to support landlords and renters through a fast-moving startup environment. This role sits at the front line of the customer journey, helping users understand the platform, resolve issues, and share feedback that improves the product and support experience.

What you'll do

Act as a primary point of contact for TurboTenant customers across chat, email, and phone, representing the company with a helpful and professional approach.
Develop strong relationships with landlords and renters while advocating for their needs inside the organization.
Contribute ideas and participate in improving the support process and the services offered to users.
Adapt quickly to frequent change in a startup setting and stay effective in a dynamic environment.
Guide landlords in understanding the value of TurboTenant’s software and services, with the aim of driving sign-ups and customer satisfaction.
Work toward ARR conversion and sign-up goals by learning users’ needs and matching solutions to those needs.
Own customer issues end to end by asking the right questions, identifying likely problems, and resolving concerns promptly.
Maintain high personal standards through empathy, proactivity, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Work in line with TurboTenant’s values and CX team principles in all internal and external interactions.
Encourage users to adopt additional platform features where those features support the company’s 2026 vision.

What the company is looking for

The ideal candidate has prior online customer service experience and is comfortable working in a high-volume, fast-paced setting. Strong phone communication, professional etiquette, multitasking ability, quick learning, and solid organization are important. You should also be tech-savvy, detail-oriented, collaborative, and genuinely motivated to help people troubleshoot and solve problems.

Work setup and schedule

This is a full-time hybrid position based in Fort Collins, Colorado. The team works in person 2 to 3 days per week. Regular weekend availability is required, and the schedule must remain flexible to help cover staffing adjustments when needed.

Compensation

The hourly pay range for this position is $24 to $26, plus equity. Final pay will depend on experience.
