About the Role

Somtrade Limited, based at Mombasa Port, is looking for a warm and efficient Customer Care/Receptionist to join their Container Freight Station operations team in Mombasa. The successful candidate will play a vital role in handling front desk activities and ensuring smooth communication with customers.

Key Responsibilities

Manage front desk operations efficiently, welcoming visitors and addressing their inquiries promptly.
Provide excellent customer service by responding to customer needs with a friendly and professional demeanor.
Handle calls and correspondence related to logistics and freight operations.
Coordinate and support logistics activities within the Container Freight Station environment.

Minimum Requirements

Completion of high school education is essential; additional certifications in customer service will be an advantage.
Between one to two years of experience in customer service, with preference given to those familiar with logistics or Container Freight Station functions.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with customers and team members.
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a dynamic work setting.
Basic knowledge of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software is required.
Understanding of logistics operations, including import and export procedures, is beneficial.
A customer-centric mindset focused on providing outstanding service consistently.
