Position Overview

LHH is recruiting for a Creative Visual Merchandiser to work with a client in the consumer brand and retail sector. The role centers on designing eye-catching merchandising and retail concepts that elevate product display and amplify brand visibility within point-of-sale locations. This position supports the conceptualization and creation of tangible and visual assets deployed across retail settings and promotional campaigns.

Primary Responsibilities

Conceptualize and implement innovative merchandising designs tailored for retail spaces and marketing events
Develop visual strategies that blend aesthetic appeal, practical functionality, and brand cohesiveness
Produce comprehensive design documentation including layouts, renderings, and mockups to assist production processes
Collaborate closely with internal teams to transform brand strategies into engaging physical environments
Direct the procurement and management of materials, props, and production components
Maintain uniformity in visual presentation throughout merchandising executions
Handle multiple projects simultaneously while respecting deadlines and budget parameters
Keep abreast of the latest trends in retail, merchandising, and design to guide creative output

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, visual merchandising, fashion merchandising, or related discipline
Three to five years of experience in visual merchandising or retail-centered creative roles
Strong design instincts focusing on layout composition, color schemes, and spatial organization
Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite; familiarity with 3D modeling or rendering applications is advantageous
Competence in managing detailed production needs and multiple simultaneous deliverables
Excellent communication abilities and experience working with cross-functional teams
Background in retail or consumer brand merchandising preferred
A portfolio demonstrating experience in retail, merchandising, or environmental design is mandatory

Compensation and Benefits

Starting salary at $90,000 or above
