About the Role
PitStop Productions seeks a Creative Marketing Executive to spearhead marketing campaigns and actively promote our diverse service offerings. We desire an imaginative individual capable of crafting unique and innovative approaches that increase awareness about our brand and services.
This position requires a talent for writing and producing captivating marketing content coupled with strong organizational skills to manage marketing assets and databases effectively. You'll collaborate closely with Leadership and the wider team to design and execute marketing campaigns and content that enhance brand recognition and foster meaningful industry conversations.
While a passion for video games is beneficial, the primary focus is on creating compelling narratives that highlight our capabilities. Prior marketing experience is not mandatory; enthusiasm, creativity, and strong organizational skills are essential. You'll have the opportunity to gain insights into our company's operations and contribute impactful ideas.
Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and implement inventive marketing campaigns promoting PitStop's services and generating new opportunities.
- Produce engaging multimedia content, including copywriting and video, for social media and the company website.
- Suggest innovative concepts to effectively showcase our work in captivating ways.
- Maintain and broaden marketing materials, databases, pitch resources, and promotional content ensuring readiness for campaigns, events, and outreach.
- Assist Leadership and Business Development with marketing efforts that maintain PitStop's visibility and cultivate long-term industry relationships.
- Spot opportunities to connect with appropriate stakeholders at strategic moments.
- Organize conference participation, engagement activities, and pre-event marketing to elevate industry presence.
- Collaborate cross-departmentally to ensure marketing accurately reflects our quality and creative prowess.
Requirements
- Understanding of how content and campaigns can increase brand discovery, reinforce capabilities, and trigger valuable conversations.
- Creative mindset able to generate and deliver engaging marketing content.
- Strong writing skills for professional marketing materials with meticulous attention to detail.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Proactive, organized, and approachable with ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Interest in video games or willingness to learn about the gaming industry.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or equivalent software.
- Desirable skills include video editing, website platform experience (e.g., Squarespace), additional languages, marketing/business qualifications, and familiarity with CRM or marketing databases.

Additional Details
Location: Role is based at PitStop's HQ in Dodworth, Barnsley, South Yorkshire; candidates must be willing to commute or relocate. Travel may be required for events and conferences.
Salary: Competitive annual salary ranging from 28000 to 32000, based on experience.
Hours: Full-time position with 37.5 hours per week; working hours are Monday to Friday from 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM, with flexibility aligned to event and meeting attendance.
