Role Summary

The Cook/Chef is expected to prepare, cook, and plate dishes in line with established recipes and quality expectations. The position also involves supporting menu preparation, maintaining food hygiene and safety standards, tracking stock and inventory, and ensuring the kitchen stays tidy and well-organized.

Work Arrangement

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Oyarifa. Shifts can include early mornings, evenings, and weekends.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience as a cook or in a professional kitchen is preferred, especially within hospitality or restaurant environments.
• Working knowledge of core cooking methods, food preparation processes, and safe food handling practices is required.
• Ability to accurately follow recipes, portioning instructions, and presentation expectations.
• Good organization and time management skills, particularly during busy service periods.
• Comfort working collaboratively, communicating clearly with teammates, and responding positively to feedback.
• A strong commitment to cleanliness, including upkeep of work surfaces, equipment, and storage areas.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts and adjust to changes in menus or service needs.
• Formal culinary education or certification is beneficial but not mandatory.

Compensation

The role offers a monthly salary starting at GHS 2,500.
