Overview

Education and Experience

Responsibilities

Determine portion sizes and food costs to maintain budget control.
Plan menus and estimate necessary food supplies.
Order food, kitchen supplies, and equipment while managing inventory accurately.
Prepare and cook full meals or individual dishes ensuring quality and presentation.
Inspect kitchen and food service areas to maintain cleanliness and safety standards.
Supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure smooth operation.
Maintain accurate records of food, supplies, and equipment usage.
Manage overall kitchen operations efficiently.

Additional Information

Work is conducted on site at the restaurant; remote work is not available.
Environment is fast-paced and physically demanding, requiring standing for long periods and handling heavy loads.
Tasks may be repetitive and require attention to detail, along with the ability to work under pressure.
