Contract Specialist

About the Role

Join Trojan Technologies, part of the Veralto network, and contribute to enhancing water treatment processes globally, including municipal wastewater, drinking water, and ultra-purification used in various industries. As a Contract Specialist reporting to the Global Contracts Manager, you will manage and negotiate a wide variety of commercial contracts, supporting sales, distribution, and change orders within the commercial business.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate potential contractual risks and propose solutions for mitigation.
• Clarify contract terms to Regional Sales Managers to ensure clear understanding of obligations.
• Provide expert contractual support ensuring project execution meets contract requirements.
• Confirm order acceptance criteria are met, coordinate necessary approvals from Finance, Legal, Sales, Operations, and communicate project execution plans.
• Assist various teams with managing Performance/Payment/Maintenance bonds, Bank Guarantees, and Letters of Credit as contractually required.
• Support procurement and management of insurance certificates, including reviews and amendments, coordinating with Sales and project teams.
• Occasional travel up to 10% of work time.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Law, Business, Law, Economics, or related disciplines.
• Fluency in English and German languages.
• Preferred experience: 3 to 5 years in contract sales, especially within capital equipment or complex commercial environments.
• Strong skills in stakeholder management and cross-functional team influence.
• Exceptional attention to detail with ability to identify and manage contractual risks.
• Highly organized with the capability to independently prioritize tasks.
• Proactive and accountable with an emphasis on continuous personal and professional development.
