Role Overview

This position is for a creative and technically minded video creator and editor who can help launch a TikTok presence from scratch. The work is based on site at the company’s facilities, where you will capture footage and turn it into short videos that are easy to understand, visually engaging, and interesting to a broad audience. Experience with TikTok strategy is a plus, especially if you can suggest ways to improve reach and engagement. This is a hands-on production role with the main focus on producing strong video content.

Key Responsibilities

• Record video on location at energy storage facilities, including tours, equipment demonstrations, safety walkthroughs, and team interviews.
• Transform raw footage into polished short-form clips, typically 15 to 90 seconds long, optimized for TikTok.
• Use captions, motion elements, graphics, and audio to make the content more engaging and accessible.
• Maintain a regular publishing rhythm, with the exact frequency to be finalized based on availability.
• Optionally support content planning by advising on hashtags, posting times, trends, and strategies to improve visibility and engagement.

What We’re Looking For

Applicants should have a strong portfolio of short-form video work, good command of editing tools such as CapCut, Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar software, and the ability to shoot content on-site using their own equipment. Clear visual storytelling is important, especially when explaining technical or complex topics in a simple way. Reliability, independence, and comfort working with a company outside the media industry are also essential. Experience with TikTok accounts, trend awareness, and a background or interest in science, engineering, sustainability, or energy would be advantageous, as would experience with motion graphics or animated explainer-style visuals.

Compensation

This is an hourly or project-based contractor engagement.
