Compliance Project Manager

Overview

INUA AI Group is inviting applications for the role of Compliance Project Manager to facilitate the operational execution of its compliance and risk management initiatives. Working under the Compliance Manager, this role ensures smooth coordination among internal teams and clients, manages compliance documentation, and maintains audit-ready records within the Compliance Pulse software.

Primary Duties

• Coordinate daily compliance-related projects, monitoring tasks, deadlines, and deliverables across several simultaneous assignments.
• Gather necessary data, documents, and evidence from internal and external stakeholders to support compliance evaluations, audits, and adherence to frameworks.
• Accurately log and store all collected documents within the Compliance Pulse management tool, ensuring completeness and readiness for audits.
• Act as the liaison connecting the Compliance Manager, internal departments, and client representatives to advance compliance activities.
• Proactively follow up with involved parties to collect pending items, resolve discrepancies, and maintain progress on evidence compilation.
• Maintain up-to-date project plans, track statuses, and timelines while delivering consistent updates to the Compliance Manager and relevant parties.
• Support audit and assessment preparations for frameworks including SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST, and HIPAA by organizing and verifying document readiness.
• Identify and suggest improvements for inefficiencies in compliance processes and documentation workflows.
• Maintain strict confidentiality and professional handling of sensitive information.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in fields such as Business, IT, Cybersecurity, or related disciplines, or equal practical experience.
• Minimum of two years in project management, compliance coordination, audit assistance, or related roles.
• Familiarity with key compliance and security standards like SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST, and HIPAA; knowledge of PCI DSS, HITRUST, or CMMC is advantageous.
• Strong capability to manage concurrent priorities, deadlines, and collaborate with multiple stakeholders.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken, for effective interaction internally and with clients.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and documentation skills.
• Comfortable using compliance, governance risk and compliance (GRC), or project management software tools.
• Demonstrates high ethical standards and discretion with confidential information.

Preferred Competencies

• Experience assisting audits related to SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST, or HIPAA frameworks.
• Knowledge or hands-on experience with GRC or compliance management platforms like Vanta, Drata, Secureframe, or OneTrust.
• Project management certification such as CAPM or PMP, or compliance certification like CCEP is a plus.
• Background in cybersecurity or managed services and experience interfacing with clients.
• Strong abilities in stakeholder engagement and maintaining professional relationships.
