Overview

Infor is seeking a Communications Specialist to elevate its brand presence throughout the APJ region, with an emphasis on public relations efforts. Responsible for generating high-quality earned media coverage, this role builds strong connections with regional journalists and publications and converts complex technical subjects into engaging and accessible stories. Close collaboration with senior executives, marketing teams, and outside PR agencies is essential to amplify Infor's messaging across the region.

Key Responsibilities

Implement regional PR strategies throughout APJ prioritized on earned media and brand recognition
Establish and nurture relationships with reporters and media outlets to secure coverage
Work alongside senior leaders to craft and highlight technical and industry narratives for press
Design innovative PR campaigns that make intricate technology topics relatable and attractive to external audiences
Partner with regional marketing units to back industry-focused and locality-specific campaigns
Oversee collaboration with external PR agencies ensuring message consistency and effective delivery
Monitor, analyze, and report on PR performance metrics with agency coordination
Align all communications with Infor's and Koch’s policies and standards

Qualifications

3 to 5 years of experience in public relations or communications, either agency or in-house
Proven track record in obtaining earned media through strong media relationships
Capability to engage senior leaders and simplify complex or technical subject matter into clear media content
Excellent English writing, editing, and storytelling abilities
Strong analytical skills for measuring and reporting PR effectiveness
Proven ability to work cross-functionally managing multiple stakeholders

Preferred Experience

Exposure to managing PR initiatives across the APJ region
Familiarity with technology or enterprise software sectors is advantageous but not mandatory
Experience liaising with external PR agencies
