Job description
Role Overview
The Collection Officer is responsible for engaging with customers who have overdue payments through direct field visits and follow-up communications. The goal is to encourage timely repayment, negotiate payment terms, and initiate recovery actions when necessary.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Visiting defaulting customers at their locations to recover outstanding dues and arrange suitable payment schedules.
- Consistently following up with customers to promote punctual repayment and clarify the implications of missed payments.
- Locating customers who have absconded and commencing appropriate recovery or legal measures as required.
