Role Overview
The CNC Operator will work on CNC angle line machines used to process tower angle sections. The role involves setting up the machine, loading materials, reading technical documents, checking output accuracy, and supporting smooth production with attention to quality, safety, and productivity.
Key Responsibilities
- Run CNC angle line equipment for tower angle section processing.
- Interpret fabrication drawings, bills of materials, and CNC programs correctly.
- Feed raw angle stock into the machine and complete setup as required.
- Check dimensions, hole positions, cut lengths, and markings against the drawing.
- Carry out initial-piece checks and ongoing in-process quality inspections.
- Watch machine operation closely and escalate any unusual performance without delay.
- Keep production logs, machine records, and daily output reports up to date.
- Preserve traceability and identification of materials throughout the workflow.
- Work with Quality, Planning, and Maintenance teams as needed.
- Follow all safety rules and maintain 5S and workplace housekeeping standards.
- Reduce wastage and support better output efficiency.
