Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled IT specialist to manage and optimize endpoint devices and applications across client environments. This position demands comprehensive expertise in endpoint technology management, application oversight, security protocols, and strong problem-solving skills alongside collaborative teamwork.

Key Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and maintain various endpoint devices including desktops, laptops, mobiles, and IoT devices ensuring timely updates and security compliance.
• Manage a suite of applications by overseeing installation, updates, license compliance, and performance optimization, while documenting configurations and procedures meticulously.
• Establish and uphold security measures for both endpoints and applications to protect sensitive data and prevent unauthorized access, conforming with organizational and industry standards.
• Conduct continuous monitoring of system security and performance to guarantee data confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
• Create and apply automation scripts and tools to streamline deployment, updates, monitoring, and troubleshooting tasks, enhancing efficiency and reducing manual operations.
• Offer level 2 and 3 support by diagnosing and resolving endpoint and application issues; maintain detailed documentation of troubleshooting and user interactions to improve future responses.
• Prepare educational materials and conduct training sessions to promote effective use and security awareness of endpoints and applications among users.
• Manage vendor relations related to hardware and software procurement, licensing, and warranty; maintain an accurate asset inventory including devices and licenses.
• Keep abreast of emerging technologies and best practices in endpoint and application management, recommending robust solutions and participating in relevant IT initiatives.

Required Qualifications and Expertise

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of three years experience managing endpoints and applications within a managed services context.
• Proficient with endpoint management platforms such as JumpCloud or Clonezilla.
• Solid experience with application suites including Google Workspace, Office 365, Active Directory, Adaxes, Atlassian Products, CrowdStrike, JumpCloud, Zendesk, Slack, and MFA security solutions.
• Knowledge and practical use of automation tools like Ansible.
• Strong command of operating systems: Windows, macOS, and Linux, covering installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Understanding of networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN.
• Skillful in scripting languages relevant to system automation and management.
• Additional certifications such as Google Workspace Administrator, MCSE, or ITIL Foundation are preferred.
