Click & Collect Valeter

About the Role

Arnold Clark is currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Valeter to join the Click & Collect branch located in Lingfield. This role involves ensuring vehicles are immaculately cleaned and presented to high standards. Ideal candidates will enjoy physical work, have excellent attention to detail, and be effective team members.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly cleaning both sold and stock vehicles.
• Managing vehicle appointments using an online diary system.
• Employing a high-powered pressure washer for external vehicle cleaning.
• Using powerful vacuum equipment and shampooing interiors.
• Operating polishing and buffing machines to enhance vehicle bodywork.
• Adhering to health and safety guidelines when handling cleaning chemicals.
• Regular maintenance and secure storage of equipment and machinery; reporting any faults promptly.
• Meeting established targets and timelines.
• Recording daily completed work accurately.
• Supporting additional branch activities as needed.

Requirements

• Possession of a full UK driving license.
• Basic proficiency with computer applications.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Self-driven with the capability to collaborate effectively within a team.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Ready to engage in training programs.

Previous valet experience is advantageous but not mandatory, as comprehensive training is provided through the Arnold Clark Valet Academy for enthusiastic candidates who meet the criteria.

Work Hours

Full-time schedule, Monday through Friday, from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
