Job Overview

As a Cleanup Planner, you will be involved in various tasks such as sorting, stacking, and piling lumber, along with handling and lifting materials. Your role includes operating production equipment when assigned, supporting other processing workers, and assisting in the routine maintenance and cleaning of sawmill equipment to guarantee proper function and quickly reporting any issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage in sorting, stacking, and piling lumber in different work zones
• Handle and move materials efficiently and safely
• Operate production machinery as designated
• Provide assistance to colleagues in processing roles
• Perform regular maintenance and cleaning of sawmill machinery, ensuring operational integrity and reporting malfunctions timely
• Carry out general labour duties as required
• Perform repetitive tasks with focus and consistency
• Comply strictly with company safety protocols including Safe Work Practices like Lock-out and Pre-task hazard assessments
• Endure standing for prolonged periods during shifts

• Willingness to work both day and night shifts when necessary
