Position Overview
Our client, a comprehensive leasing partner leveraging proprietary technology to aid landlords in faster leasing, lowering vacancies, and thorough applicant screening, is seeking a dependable and meticulous Cleaner. This role involves attending to residential rental properties and performing a variety of cleaning services such as move-in/move-out cleans, rental turnover cleaning, and preparing properties to be listing-ready.
About the Employer
The company handles the entire rental process, from advertising units on MLS and over 20 platforms to coordinating all steps up to tenant move-in.
Key Responsibilities
- Visit residential rental units for scheduled cleaning assignments including turnovers and preparing listings.
- Conduct general residential cleaning in line with company quality standards.
- Thoroughly clean kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, living areas, hallways, appliances, floors, cabinets, surfaces, and fixtures.
- Eliminate dust, dirt, waste, and any remaining items as needed.
- Wipe down high-touch and surface areas such as counters, sinks, mirrors, doors, baseboards.
- Vacuum, sweep, mop, and maintain floor cleanliness.
- Clean interiors of appliances like refrigerators, stoves, ovens, microwaves, dishwashers, washers, and dryers where necessary.
- Recognize areas requiring extra cleaning, junk removal, repairs, maintenance, or additional follow-up.
- Document work with clear before-and-after pictures and videos of the property and cleaning tasks.
- Submit precise updates, notes, photographs, and videos after each visit.
- Maintain professional communication with landlords, applicants, tenants as appropriate, and team members.
- Adhere strictly to company guidelines, cleaning procedures, access protocols, and appointment instructions.

- Previous experience in cleaning roles such as housekeeper, cleaning contractor, residential cleaner, or related positions.
- In-depth understanding of residential cleaning standards.
- Access to reliable transportation to reach various rental properties.
- Possession of necessary cleaning tools and supplies for each appointment.
- Comfortable working independently in residential rental settings.
- Ownership of an iPhone 13 or equivalent smartphone with a high-quality camera.
- Ability to capture clear photos and videos documenting property condition and completed work.
- Skills in writing clear notes and submitting detailed updates post-visit.
- Proven ability to follow instructions, checklists, and property access details precisely.
- Professional demeanor, punctuality, reliability, and strong attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills for interacting respectfully with landlords, applicants, tenants, and internal staff.
Preferred Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with move-in/move-out or rental turnover cleaning specifically.
- Background in preparing residential rental properties for photography, inspections, showings, or move-ins.
- Ability to identify and report damage, maintenance needs, junk removal, pest issues, access complications, or safety concerns.
- Experience working independently in field roles linked to property management, leasing, cleaning, or home services.
