About the Role

We are currently seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team at a restaurant location in Ilkley, West Yorkshire. This full-time permanent position involves upholding exceptional hygiene and cleanliness standards throughout the premises to ensure a safe and inviting environment for guests and staff alike.

Primary Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive cleaning and sanitization across all restaurant areas, including the dining room, kitchen, restrooms, and back-of-house spaces.
• Maintain spotless and well-kept floors, windows, walls, and fixtures.
• Dispose of waste responsibly and recycle when possible, following strict health and safety protocols.
• Notify management promptly about any maintenance needs or potential hazards.
• Assist in managing cleaning supplies and ensuring the upkeep of cleaning equipment.
• Work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends, to cover shifts.

Candidate Profile

• Self-motivated with an excellent eye for detail and strong dedication to the role.
• Previous cleaning experience in catering or hospitality is advantageous but not required; full training will be offered.
• Dependable, punctual, and maintains a positive attitude.
• Capable of working independently and collaboratively within a team setting.
• Communicates effectively and follows instructions diligently.
• Understands and applies health and safety standards relevant to cleaning tasks.
• Physically fit to perform cleaning duties, including lifting and prolonged standing.
