Role Overview: Cleaner / Dishwasher

As a Dishwasher, you play a vital role in delivering the Nando's experience by ensuring all dishes and utensils meet cleanliness standards for our customers. The Cleaner is responsible for sanitizing and organizing dishware, maintaining the dish room, dish machines, and storage areas. This team-oriented position may also require assistance with restaurant cleanliness, inventory stocking, cooking chicken, and simple food prep tasks. Collaborating with the team, the role supports surpassing guest expectations and maintaining the distinguished Nando's environment.

Minimum Qualifications

• Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively in a team setting
• Capacity to work efficiently and calmly under pressure
• Dedication to quality service alongside basic knowledge of food and beverage items
• Understanding of safety, hygiene, and food handling standards
• Basic proficiency in English for clear and professional communication

Physical Demands

• Capability to lift up to 15 pounds independently over extended periods
• Endurance to stand, walk, and climb stairs while carrying food and dishware throughout the workday
• Ability to remain standing or walking for 8 to 10 hours daily
• Good hand-eye coordination
• Perform reaching, bending, twisting, stooping, pushing and pulling motions
• Lift objects overhead as needed
• Must manage stairs in multi-level restaurant locations
