Role Overview

We are seeking a dependable and meticulous Cleaner to service residential rental properties. This includes performing move-in and move-out cleans, rental turnover cleans, and preparing properties for listing readiness.

Key Responsibilities

Attend rental properties for cleaning appointments and carry out cleaning services tailored for move-in/move-out and rental turnovers
Perform thorough residential cleaning as per company quality standards
Clean all rooms including kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, living spaces, and hallways, focusing on appliances, floors, surfaces, cabinets, and fixtures
Eliminate dust, dirt, debris, trash, and leftover items as necessary
Wipe down surfaces like counters, sinks, mirrors, doors, baseboards, and frequently touched areas
Vacuum, sweep, mop, and maintain all flooring types
Clean inside household appliances such as refrigerators, stoves, ovens, microwaves, dishwashers, washers, and dryers when required
Identify and report areas that need extra cleaning, junk removal, repairs, maintenance, or further attention
Document cleaning results through clear before-and-after photos and videos
Provide detailed updates, notes, and multimedia content after each visit
Communicate professionally and respectfully with landlords, applicants, tenants (where applicable), and internal team members
Adhere to company instructions, cleaning checklists, access protocols, and appointment details

Move-in and move-out cleans
Rental turnover cleaning
Deep cleaning tasks
Kitchen and bathroom cleaning
Appliance, floor, dusting, surface, cabinet, drawer, windowsill, and baseboard cleaning
Garbage removal and light debris cleanup
Preparing properties for photos, showings, inspections, and move-ins

Qualifications and Requirements

Prior experience as a cleaner, housekeeper, cleaning contractor, or similar residential cleaning role
Strong understanding of residential cleaning standards and procedures
Own reliable transportation for travel between properties
Possess necessary cleaning equipment and supplies for appointments
Comfortable working independently at residential rental properties
Possess an iPhone 13 or similar smartphone with a high-quality camera
Skilled at capturing clear photos and videos of properties and cleaning outcomes
Ability to write clear notes and submit comprehensive updates post-visit
High degree of professionalism, reliability, punctuality, and attention to detail
Capability to follow detailed cleaning checklists and access instructions accurately
Effective, respectful communication with landlords, applicants, tenants, and team members

Additional Desired Attributes

Experience with move-in/move-out or rental turnover cleaning specifically
Familiarity with preparing rental properties for photos, showings, inspections, and move-in readiness
Ability to identify damages, maintenance problems, junk removal requirements, pest issues, access complications, or safety concerns
Previous experience working autonomously within property management, leasing, cleaning, or home services industries
