About the Role
An established international engineering consultancy is seeking a Civil Engineer to join their specialized Water Engineering team in Munich, Germany. This role focuses on hydraulic structures related to major infrastructure and environmental projects. The position offers a chance to contribute to significant flood protection, water management, and sustainable infrastructure initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and oversee projects related to hydraulic and water engineering fields.
- Manage all project phases following the German HOAI regulations.
- Prepare feasibility assessments, technical reports, and engineering concepts.
- Create BIM models with Autodesk Revit to facilitate model-based project execution.
- Collaborate effectively with clients, government authorities, and interdisciplinary teams.
- Generate detailed engineering documentation and technical drawings of high quality.
- Provide support for projects involving flood protection, dams, reservoirs, weirs, and river engineering.
- Ensure that all projects meet timelines, budget constraints, and quality standards.
Candidate Requirements
- Degree in Civil Engineering, either Bachelor's or Master's level.
- Professional experience in hydraulic engineering, structural water engineering, or civil infrastructure projects.
- Proficiency in BIM workflows and Autodesk Revit software.
- Experience with AutoCAD and/or Civil 3D is considered a plus.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in teams.
- Fluency in written and spoken German is mandatory.
- English language skills are beneficial.
