About the Role
Dibble is expanding its Utilities teams in Phoenix and Mesa, AZ, and invites applications for a motivated Civil CAD Designer to join the team. The role offers an excellent opportunity to grow professionally within a company that prioritizes high-quality engineering services, employee well-being, and community support.
Key Responsibilities
- Create engineering designs using AutoCAD Civil 3D software.
- Effectively communicate design methodologies and decisions, supported by proper documentation, to Project Engineers and Project Managers.
- Address and compile review feedback on deliverables received from clients and internal stakeholders.
- Conduct thorough quality reviews of personal work aligned with company quality standards and processes.
- Develop engineering drawings based on sketches, field notes, verbal inputs, and specifications.
- Coordinate CAD files and designs collaboratively with both internal team members and external partners.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience with AutoCAD and Civil 3D software applications.
- Background in designing water and wastewater systems is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong verbal and written communication capabilities.
- Self-driven with the ability to work independently and handle multiple projects in a rapidly evolving environment.
- Capability to generate construction documents applying sound design judgment within agency guidelines.
- Effective team player attitude essential for managing diverse simultaneous projects.
- An Associate Degree in drafting or equivalent educational background is preferred.
- At least two years of experience working as a CAD Designer is required.
