Role Overview

The Chief Operating Officer (COO) position is a full-time hybrid role with a potential acquisition target that manages mining operations in Asia, Oceania, and the United States. The COO is responsible for supervising daily administrative and operational activities across the target’s subsidiaries.

Qualifications

• At least 15 years of operational experience, including a minimum of 5 years in leadership roles within the mining industry; expertise in gold mining is advantageous.
• Proven ability in business planning, strategic implementation, and scaling operations across a growing mining company with diverse asset portfolios.
• Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, resource allocation, cost management, and financial performance tracking.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with experience managing geographically distributed teams effectively.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and collaborative abilities bridging technical and non-technical groups.
• A bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Geology, Finance, Economics, Management, or related discipline; possession of an advanced degree like an MBA is preferred.
