About Strada

Strada is a global leader in people, payroll, and technology, focused on simplifying international workforce management across more than 180 countries. The company builds cloud-based, people-centred solutions that help organizations expand and help employees perform at their best.

This opportunity sits within Strada’s Change Management practice, which helps clients get the most value from transformation programs, especially cloud-based Human Capital Management and Financials technologies such as Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, and Cornerstone OnDemand. The team uses user-focused, data-backed approaches to help clients adopt new ways of working and sustain change.

Role Overview

The Change Management Director is part of the practice leadership group and contributes to both the success of client engagements and the ongoing development of the practice itself. The role combines client delivery, business growth, service improvement, and leadership responsibilities. Depending on team needs and the candidate’s strengths, it may also include formal people management with direct reports.

Key Responsibilities

  • Direct multiple concurrent projects covering change management, communications, training, and HR or financial transformation work, often in a matrixed environment.
  • Support business growth by leading discovery sessions, shaping solutions, setting pricing for change services, and uncovering further revenue opportunities during live engagements.
  • Own client delivery by creating integrated solutions that follow Strada’s change management methods and tools, and by supporting consultant teams throughout the engagement.
  • Partner with functional specialists and domain experts to build client-specific approaches that improve readiness and adoption.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders such as sales leaders, project leads, PMO teams, and functional and technical teams.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior client leaders, including CHRO and CFO-level stakeholders, and advise on solution deployment, adoption tracking, and effectiveness measurement.
  • Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, resources, governance, reporting, reviews, and escalations within a formal project management structure.
  • Contribute to the design and launch of new services, as well as ongoing improvements to methods, tools, knowledge assets, and team collaboration practices.
  • Coach consultants, support career growth and performance, and where applicable, handle goals, performance management, and compensation processes for direct reports.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, Organizational Change, or a related field; a master’s degree is preferred.
  • Strong project management background, including ownership of team budgets and delivery of defined project outcomes.
  • Understanding of sales and business development practices, including solution design, pricing, and presentation skills.
  • Excellent communication ability across formats, with confidence in engaging people at all levels of an organization.
  • Skill in explaining complex changes involving culture, behaviour, roles, and processes in a clear and concise way.
  • Ability to adapt quickly, remain flexible, and learn in changing environments.
  • Proven leadership skills, including team guidance and support for professional development.
  • Deep consulting experience in large-scale change programs, such as outsourced HR services or HR/Finance transformation.
  • Knowledge of training approaches, instructional design principles, and practical training delivery.
  • Ability to inspire junior team members and guide them toward team and project goals.
  • Creative leadership style with the ability to set direction, delegate effectively, and empower others.
  • Comfort working collaboratively in ambiguous settings while maintaining high team standards.
  • Strong command of MS Office applications.
  • Preferred certifications include PMI, Prosci, SHRM, and ASTD.
  • 12+ years of relevant experience in change management and/or business transformation, ideally within a consulting firm; equivalent internal change leadership experience in a Fortune 500 environment may also be considered.
  • At least 5 years of complex project and client management experience, with budget accountability and measurable delivery outcomes.
  • Hands-on experience creating change management, communications, and training materials.
  • End-to-end experience delivering digital transformation implementations.
  • Experience leading projects and teams within an external consulting setup.
  • Ability to lead consulting sales efforts end to end, including RFP responses and sales presentations.
  • Preferred experience with cloud HCM and finance platforms such as Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, and Cornerstone OnDemand.
  • Preferred formal people management experience with direct reports.
  • Preferred background in HR or Finance Transformation.
  • Preferred experience in consulting practice leadership and operations.
  • Exposure to communications and training development tools and software is an advantage.

Benefits

  • Comprehensive support for health, wellbeing, finances, and long-term security.
  • Health coverage, wellbeing programs, paid leave, retirement plans, learning opportunities, and similar benefits.
  • Competitive total rewards package and strong growth potential within a global organization.
