Role Overview
Joining Walmart Canada as a Cashier offers a valuable opportunity to enhance your retail experience by delivering exceptional customer service during checkout, fostering customer loyalty, and vigilantly safeguarding company assets.
Key Duties
- Welcome customers warmly with polite and friendly interaction.
- Execute purchase transactions efficiently and promptly, including merchandise deactivation in line with the EAS Program.
- Advocate company-sponsored programs such as credit card services, product protection plans, and charity initiatives.
- Help customers with merchandise bagging and loading procedures.
- Adhere to safety protocols including proper lifting techniques and maintaining a tidy work environment.
- Ensure the security and integrity of the cash register through careful cash handling and awareness of policies and surroundings.
- Direct customers to the Customer Service Manager when specialized service or transaction assistance is needed.
Compensation
The starting wages for this position begin at $16.15 per hour.
