Position Overview

Joining Walmart Canada as a Cashier offers a valuable opportunity to gain experience in the retail sector. Key Responsibilities

• Welcome customers warmly and with a friendly attitude.
• Efficiently manage purchase transactions, including merchandise deactivation as per the Electronic Article Surveillance (EAS) system.
• Advocate for Walmart’s partner programs such as credit card services, product protection plans, and charitable programs.
• Support customers by assisting with bagging and loading their purchases.
• Adhere to safe workplace practices, including proper lifting techniques and maintaining cleanliness in the work environment.
• Safeguard register operations through careful cash management, compliance with company policies, and acute situational awareness.
• Refer customers to a Customer Service Manager when specialized service or transaction assistance is necessary.

Compensation

The pay rate for this position begins at $18.40 per hour.

• Applicants must be aged 16 years or older.
