Cart Attendant

Role overview

As a Cart Attendant, you help create a strong first and last impression for shoppers. The role focuses on collecting carts from the parking area, using cart-moving equipment to bring them back into the store, and keeping all shopping carts clean and sanitary. A positive attitude is important, especially when working in all kinds of weather.

Employment type and shifts

This position is available on both full-time and part-time schedules. Shifts listed for this role include mid-shift and closing.

Pay and additional compensation

The hourly pay range for this job is $15 to $28 per hour. The actual rate will meet or exceed the minimum wage required at the work location. In addition to base pay, annual or quarterly performance incentives may be available. Depending on the schedule, facility, season, or specific tasks performed, extra premiums may also apply, ranging from $0.35 to $3.00 per hour. More than one premium may be paid if the qualifying conditions are met.
