Overview
The role entails managing the Dell Infrastructure Solutions Group (ISG) and Client Solutions Group (CSG) portfolios across the Gulf region including Qatar, Kuwait, Oman, and Bahrain. The Business Unit Manager will ensure the execution of corporate strategies, drive revenue growth, and develop strong relationships with Dell, channel partners, and internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Full accountability for the profit and loss performance of assigned Dell ISG and CSG portfolios within the regional scope.
- Implementing and achieving company business objectives and plans.
- Establishing and sustaining robust working partnerships with Dell’s regional and local teams, as well as with customers and channel stakeholders.
- Formulating and executing strategies to boost Logicom’s market presence and share for Dell products across targeted countries.
- Ensuring governance compliance with Logicom and Dell operational policies.
- Fostering strong involvement with strategic and managed channel partners to promote mutual business growth.
- Overseeing the Accounts Receivable process related to Dell portfolios to meet financial targets.
- Conducting periodic sales management activities including pipeline reviews, forecasting, and business performance evaluations.
- Leading and developing a high-performing sales team focused on Dell solutions, providing guidance and growth opportunities.
- Utilizing company systems such as CRM, analytics, and e-commerce platforms to enhance operational efficiency and generate business insights.
- Collaborating with other Logicom Business Units to create cross-selling and up-selling initiatives.
- Designing and implementing marketing activities aligned with Dell and Logicom strategies.
- Coordinating with regional and local teams to streamline sales execution and ensure alignment with business goals.
- Monitoring market dynamics and competitors to strengthen Logicom’s competitive advantage.
Qualifications & Experience
- A minimum of 12 years working in the ICT sector with emphasis on technology sales, business development, and channel management.
- At least 4 years of experience within Gulf markets demonstrating familiarity with regional trends and customer behavior.
- Four or more years of managerial experience leading sales teams and enabling cross-department collaboration.
- Proven capability in guiding multicultural teams in a competitive, fast-paced environment.
- Strong leadership skills aimed at building and retaining top-performing teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Management, or related fields required. Advanced degrees like an MBA or a Master’s in Technology Management are highly desirable.
- Expertise in Dell ISG solutions including servers, storage, networking, and hyper-converged infrastructure.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Dell’s CSG products such as laptops, desktops, monitors, and peripherals.
- Strong P&L management experience involving budgeting, forecasting, and optimizing costs.
- Deep understanding of sales, marketing, logistics, and channel operations.
- Ability to analyze competitive market trends to devise strategic growth plans.
- Excellent command of English, both verbally and in writing.
- Competence in presenting strategic business cases, plans, and product developments to various stakeholders.
- Proficiency in CRM, analytics, and sales management tools for performance tracking and opportunity identification.
