About the Role
Join L’Oréal's Professional Products Division as a Business Partner, focusing on the hair industry within the Midlands region of Ireland. You will be responsible for managing your own customer portfolio with a business plan aimed at driving growth and market presence. This division, home to top brands like L’Oréal Professional, Kérastase, Redken, and Matrix, is known for providing cutting-edge hair and beauty solutions exclusively to salons and professional establishments.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage relationships with client accounts by delivering exceptional service and acting as a brand ambassador, utilizing a mix of in-person and virtual engagements for timely market responsiveness.
- Create, implement, and manage detailed business plans per client covering revenue targets, market share, profitability, and trade marketing efforts.
- Develop Growth Business Plans by assessing client needs, conducting business reviews, and uncovering opportunities for new product introductions and account expansion.
- Analyze sales data to forecast turnover accurately and devise risk mitigation strategies if performance deviates from targets.
- Collaborate with Activation teams to communicate and apply Growth Business Plans internally and to clients.
- Oversee budget components, including sales forecasts, negotiations, promotional spending, and sell-out budgets, with support from supply chain and financial controllers.
- Lead annual contract negotiations and follow up with action plans to ensure goals are met and progress is tracked.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of customer accounts and competitive market dynamics.

Qualifications and Experience
- Proven commercial experience with a strong track record of success.
- Familiarity with virtual working environments and online client engagement.
- Strong commercial judgment enhanced by excellent negotiation capabilities.
- History of meeting or exceeding multiple performance objectives.
- Results-driven with a proactive approach to problem-solving and solution-finding.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, effective both virtually and face-to-face.
- Ability to work accurately under pressure while managing ambiguity.
- Skilled in data analysis to draw insights and communicate findings succinctly.
- Effective planning and organizational abilities, with flexibility to adjust priorities as needed.
- Capability to evaluate risk and incorporate contingency measures into plans.
