Role Summary
This position is for a Business Development Representative supporting Singapore operations. It is a mid-level, outbound sales role designed for a proactive, adaptable, self-motivated professional with around 3 to 5 years of experience. Strong performers may have the chance to move into a more senior position over time. The role is remote and based in Singapore.
Key Responsibilities
- Research, identify, and reach out to prospective customers across target industries in Southeast Asia.
- Carry out outbound selling activities, including cold outreach, lead screening, and first-stage discovery conversations.
- Create, maintain, and advance a pipeline of sales-qualified opportunities.
- Work closely with Account Executives and company leaders to transfer qualified leads smoothly.
- Build a solid understanding of the company’s offerings so solutions can be presented clearly and accurately.
- Keep CRM data current and provide updates on activities, pipeline status, and performance results.
- Monitor market movements, competitor actions, and customer requirements to improve outreach approach.
- Represent the company professionally during customer meetings, online presentations, and discovery discussions when needed.
Requirements
- 2 to 3 years of experience in a Business Development Representative, Sales Development Representative, or similar hunter-style role, preferably in B2B, technology, IT services, or digital solutions.
- Demonstrated success in sourcing and qualifying new business through outbound prospecting.
- Strong verbal communication skills and the confidence to engage senior stakeholders.
- Self-directed, well-organised, and comfortable contributing in an early-stage team environment.
- Entrepreneurial attitude with the ability to adapt quickly and take responsibility.
- Hands-on experience using CRM tools and managing sales pipelines.
- Based in Sydney, with flexibility to work remotely.
