Role overview
TeamFeePay is hiring a Business Development Representative to support growth across Kent in a fully remote capacity. The position suits a sales professional who enjoys building strong relationships, working strategically, and helping grassroots football clubs adopt a new platform and development model.
In this role, you will represent the brand locally, introduce clubs to TeamFeePay’s offering, and guide prospects through the company’s 5-Pillar Club Development approach.

Main responsibilities
Solution selling
- Present the company’s value proposition clearly and adapt recommendations to each client’s needs using a consultative sales style
- Learn the platform thoroughly and be able to demonstrate and sell it confidently, while product specialists provide additional support
- Carry out lead pre-qualification in line with the company’s sales approach
- Take part in both pre-sale and post-sale activity
Pipeline and account management
- Plan outreach and manage the sales funnel strategically to attract new clubs, including travel to clubs and in-person meetings where needed
- Maintain the sales pipeline in Salesforce, updating every stage of communication for accurate reporting
- Pass newly won sales on to the Onboarding Manager
- Own business targets and KPIs and work to achieve them consistently
- Attend quarterly events and tournaments to build relationships with clubs
- Collect and maintain contact details for the regional club prospect database
- Understand the club lifecycle and support clubs through each stage of growth and success
Process improvement and teamwork
- Identify ways to improve automation and working efficiency
- Work closely with colleagues and other departments to deliver strong outcomes and excellent club experiences
Brand representation
- Act as a regional ambassador for TeamFeePay and help expand its presence among grassroots clubs
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in sales or business development
- Existing connections within grassroots football in the relevant region
- Confident using CRM platforms
- Proven record in a similar role with sales target achievement
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Good analytical thinking and problem-solving ability
- Resilient, patient, and able to stay effective under pressure
- Organised, process-oriented, and comfortable working strategically
- Ability to thrive in a busy, fast-moving environment
- Strong commercial awareness and ability to spot opportunities in the customer base
- Collaborative, team-focused approach
- Good time management skills
- Comfortable using IT systems and Microsoft Office
- GCSE English and Mathematics, or equivalent

This is a remote full-time role based around Kent. The work may involve travelling to clubs and attending events or tournaments in person as part of regional outreach.
